Wine growing in harmony with the territory
“Viticulture” operates in three main areas:
- Analysis of the winery’s potential, both from the agronomic and technical viewpoint, and in terms of human resources. It includes an evaluation of the soil structure, macro and micro climatic conditions, the potential of existing vineyards and the professionalism of farm operators;
- Vineyard management, making decisions on all issues regarding fertilization, pest control, canopy management, and harvest time and methods;
- New vineyard development, indicating the most appropriate grape varieties, clones and rootstocks, as well as defining the most suitable areas to be planted, and establishing the best planting timing and technologies.
