The Group’s newest asset, Matura R&D, has begun operating in 2004. Endowed with a modern lab, fully equipped both technically and professionally, its objective is to provide Matura’s staff and customers with a range of complete, timely and confidential analysis (and updates) in fields related to both vineyards and cellars, such as:

• Chemical, physical and microbiological analysis for the food and wine industry, with particular attention to the wine production chain: grapes, must, wine, and issues related to corks, soil, water and oils;
• Scientific information and training, with particular attention to the latest international research in the areas of viticulture and enology.
